The new Coldplay is better than a lot on the radio. However, based upon its track record and hype, the latest album should have been better.
It is slightly pedestrian and a lesser album than the second, which prepared me for great things (kinda like U2 and Radiohead's 3rd albums).
A new band sounds like the latest Coldplay should. The new british band to watch for is Embrace. The song is Ashes. Check out the song and video here.
