TIVO

Ah TiVo, glorious TiVi where have you been all my life?

I never again have to miss the Daily Show because I am too old to stay up late. I never again will have to miss The Sports Reporters because of church. I will never again have to miss CSI (only Las Vegas, never Miami).

I can even record Scrubs, which I have only seen a few times, but loved. Oh, I can actually watch the Simpsons.

TiVo is an evil machine. I have never watched many shows because I can never remember when they are on. Now my TV remembers and records them. Bad TV. Bad.

But, on a more positive note, no commercials. Why did I not have this machine during the election cycle?

I've been a proud TiVo owner since Christmas 2002 and I would never go back to watching TV with commericals! problem is, it only takes about 40 minutes to watch a 60 minute show without the commercials, so I wind up watching MORE tv! go figure...

btw, I watch all three CSIs, and if I had to rank them, it would go something like this:

1. CSI: Miami (perhaps because I lived on South Beach for nearly three years and am familiar with the turf).
2. CSI: NY (one reason: Gary Sinise! need I say more? ok, because I grew up in New Jersey, and NYC is the greatest city in the world!)
3. CSI: Vegas - Don't care for Grissom. Come to think of it, I can't think of any really sympathetic characters on that show.

Any TiVo recording schedule worth its salt would include "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" - best show on television. Period. - Mike (The Wuss-Boy)
