Not all religious conservatives believe in the nuclear option, contrary to what Dobson, Frist and the ERM (extreme right media) tell us. Conservative Icon Ken Starr (remember him) was interviewed by CBS News (as opposed to ABC News which may have been interviewing another fallen American Idol) last night. Here is account.

"some conservatives watch this all play out among their political brethren, they're aghast. Consider Ken Starr, a former federal judge, ex solicitor general under Bush the elder, the independent counsel who investigated Bill Clinton, and now dean of the Pepperdine University School of Law. A well-credentialed conservative by any standard, Starr warns that "it's important to separate
thoughtful criticism from unseemly attacks." Indeed, he told me, "these judges are doing their jobs according to their own lights," and while conservatives may
disagree with their decisions, "these are not corrupt people. Let's disagree with them without calling to impeach them.'"
