so, I am a bit ambivalent about the Scooter Libby conviction. As I told my friend James earlier today...
"it is like convicting Al Capone's accountant for lying on IRS forms while Capone continues to murder people and profit from racketeering."
(so, am I comparing anyone in the Bush administration to Al Capone or calling them murderers and racketeers?- no. I am comparing the relative importance of a Libby conviction in the grand scheme. Remember your SATs!)
