In response to the treatment of Iraq War veterans by the Bush Administration, Pentagon and VA, I have decided to periodically post pictures from different sources which remind us of the hidden toll of the War in Iraq.

Machine gunner in the Army's 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment. Lost his leg on August 25, 2003, during a firefight near Fallujah.













Of course his leg was sacrificed, not lost or wasted.
