Ugh. My wife and I watched this on PBS this past weekend, and we were both dumbstruck. Do you think she went to church the following weekend and got high-fives from people for "standing up for truth" while her wishy-washy husband (who was actually trying to be thoughtful about his choice) was added to the prayer (read: gossip) list?

oh. my. god.

this kind of thing really pisses me off. aside from the politics of it, it is just fricking ignorant.

why aren't people who think this way ostracized publicly? why do we put up with this kind of ignorance?

it is racist and bigoted. just ignorant.

she is free to have her religious beliefs, fine, fall in line with all the other brain washed jokers.

but the anti-Muslim sentiment? no one is gonna call people out on that shit? even Martin Luther (remember him? father of the protestant reformation? any body?) even he said that he would rather have a wise Turk (read Muslim) than a foolish Christian as leaders and that was 500 years ago. have we not progressed since then?

and so what if his mom was atheist. we outlawed religious tests for office holders at the founding of the nation.

i was once a McCain supporter. But I have lost a lot of respect for the man because of how his campaign has fueled this kind of bigotry.

why can't the GOP stick to criticizing Obama for his policies? why does it have to be about the lowest common denominator?

more and more i get disgusted with the christian church.

Wow, BLIND faith.

I would hate to have faith that judges on my parents religious status was/is, what they named me, or what church I go to.

Everybody should base their decision for President based on the candidate's faith in the Lord? insanity man...ignorant doesn't even begin to describe it.

I know Palin's a fundy and all but isn't McCain a non-church goer?
