My friend Doug Pagitt has commented recently on his disregard for bumper stickers and bumper sticker mentality.
I thought back to a comedian who once mentioned that he loved bumper stickers. They were shortcuts for him. He could look at the bumper sticker and decide that he would never be friends with the person who owned the car.
Anyway, last week in Gainesville (one of the few Blue counties north of Orlando in FL) I saw my favorite in a while...
"NPR mind in a Fox News World." It made me smile (and feel a twinge of superiority and pride I needed to repent of later).
